Born in Portugal, Miguel Santos is an interdisciplinary artist/ researcher. He has been studying intersecting perspectives in the Fine Arts and Cognitive Sciences, the exploration of perception and construction of meaning by the observer and employing these findings in the production of interactive installations, videos and
photography. His work has been exhibited in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands and UK. He is currently a PhD student at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. His work focuses on the creation of interfaces for the development of self-conscious experiences in the art work and exploring the art practice as the research methodology.
